Welcome to Handmade by Lony. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and purchases made through handmadebylony.com.
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.
1. About Handmade by Lony
Handmade by Lony is an independent creative business based in Slovenia, offering handmade and individually curated jewelry, accessories, mystery jewelry jars and other selected products.

2. Online Store
Products displayed on our website are offered subject to availability.
We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue products, collections, prices or promotions at any time. Product availability may be limited, particularly for handmade, one-of-a-kind and limited-edition items.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, materials and details accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and the customer’s screen.
Because many Handmade by Lony products are handmade or individually curated, small variations between pieces are normal and are part of their unique character.
3. Orders
Customers may place orders through handmadebylony.com.
Our store serves international customers and orders may be placed from supported countries worldwide, subject to available shipping services and any applicable legal or carrier restrictions.
The primary language of our international online store is English.
After placing an order, you will receive an electronic order confirmation. An order may be refused or cancelled where necessary, including in cases of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, payment failure, product unavailability or an inability to ship to the supplied destination.
If we cancel an order after payment has been successfully processed, the applicable amount will be refunded.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, shipping and contact information.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or at checkout.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout and may vary depending on the customer’s country or device.
Shipping charges, applicable taxes and other charges known to us will be displayed before the customer completes the purchase where required.
For international orders, customers may also be responsible for import duties, customs charges, taxes or handling fees imposed by their destination country. These charges are outside our control unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Handmade by Lony ships internationally to supported destinations.
Available shipping methods, shipping costs and estimated delivery information are displayed on our website and/or during checkout.
Orders are shipped from Slovenia.
Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates unless expressly stated otherwise. International deliveries may be affected by customs processing, postal delays, local carriers, holidays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.
If a parcel is returned because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, delivery was refused, or the parcel was not collected within the carrier’s collection period, additional shipping charges may apply before the parcel can be sent again.
6. Customs and International Orders
International customers are responsible for complying with the import requirements of their destination country.
Customs authorities may inspect packages and may charge import VAT, customs duties or other fees according to local law.
Any such charges that are not collected by Handmade by Lony during checkout are the responsibility of the recipient.
7. Handmade and One-of-a-Kind Products
Many Handmade by Lony pieces are handmade in small quantities.
Minor differences in bead placement, natural stones, shells, charms, patterns, colours or other components may occur.
These natural or handmade variations are not considered defects where the product otherwise corresponds to its description.
8. Mystery Jewelry Jars and Curated Products
Mystery Jewelry Jars and similar curated products are intentionally created as surprise selections within the theme, size or description chosen by the customer.
Product photographs may show examples of the style, aesthetic or possible contents and do not guarantee that the customer will receive the exact pieces shown unless explicitly stated in the product description.
Each jar may therefore contain different jewelry pieces, charms, colours, materials or designs while remaining consistent with the selected theme and product description.
9. Personalised and Custom-Made Products
Some products may be created, altered or curated specifically according to a customer’s individual instructions or personalisation requests.
Where permitted by applicable consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised for that customer.
This does not affect the customer’s legal rights where an item is defective, damaged or does not correspond to what was ordered.
10. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable under EU consumer law, consumers purchasing online generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify Handmade by Lony clearly of their decision to withdraw within the applicable period.

Unless otherwise required by law or agreed by Handmade by Lony, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising the right of withdrawal.
Returned products should be handled only to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The customer may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.
The right of withdrawal does not apply where an applicable legal exception exists, including certain products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised for the customer.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
11. Damaged, Incorrect or Non-Conforming Products
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if an item arrives damaged, if you receive the wrong item, or if the product does not correspond to your order.

Customers retain all mandatory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods under applicable consumer law.
12. Legal Guarantee
Consumers in the European Union have statutory rights relating to goods that are defective or do not conform to the sales contract.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts mandatory statutory guarantees or other consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Handmade by Lony name, original product photography, product descriptions, original designs, branding and other original website content belong to Handmade by Lony or are used with appropriate permission.
Content may not be reproduced, commercially exploited or presented as another seller’s work without permission, except where permitted by law.
References to aesthetic themes, genres, characters or popular culture are descriptive unless expressly stated otherwise and do not imply official affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship by third-party rights holders.
14. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions, including validity periods, minimum order values, eligible products or usage limits.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions cannot be combined.
We reserve the right to cancel or correct a promotion where there has been an obvious technical or pricing error, subject to applicable law.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website accurate and accessible but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues or services provided by third parties such as Shopify, payment providers or delivery services.
16. Personal Information
Personal information submitted through the store is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Payment information may also be processed directly by Shopify and/or the selected payment provider.

17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law or restricts mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Handmade by Lony is not responsible for losses resulting solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal or carrier disruption, customs delays or failures of third-party services.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections they may have under applicable consumer law.
Where mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise, those mandatory rules remain unaffected.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our store, services or applicable requirements.
The version published on handmadebylony.com at the relevant time will be the current version.
Changes will not retroactively reduce mandatory rights arising from orders already concluded.
